"Hello? Catherine speaking. Who's this? Is there anything I can do for you?”
With a heavy breath, he began to raise his voice to say something to Catherine. He thought Catherine needed to know that Hazel was currently struggling to live in there.
"Kate, it's me Calvin."
"Calvin? Are you Calvin McAdam? Don’t kidding me! If you want to fool me by pretending to be Calvin, tsk, I won't be fooled. Calvin McAdam is dead."
He frowned in confusion. Didn't Kiev finally admit to his lies and tell Hazel that he was still alive? He only asked Kiev to keep his whereabouts a secret because he didn't want to make too many more lies in his life.

The cafeteria between breakfast and lunch hours was very quiet. There weren't many people sitting on the chairs, leaving only three women in doctor's coats who seemed to be busy gossiping. It's white, has a strong carbolic smell, and is very boring. There was no interesting sight in the room other than the blue curtains that occasionally swayed because of the wind blowing from the air conditioner. Everything seemed very quiet in the room. Even Hazel thought she could hear her own breathing and the constant beating of her heart. She was alone in her treatment room. Everyone has gone home to move on with their own lives.
