SIXTY EIGHT

Countless times he did this in a week or maybe two. Who knows. He had forgotten the last time he checked the calendar. Every day he always wakes up at four o'clock. Do a few stretches. Then showered, had breakfast, got into his cool car, then sped off down the deserted street to the courthouse where Hazel worked.
