Dani POV

“Taxi!” i flagged down a taxi, the driver was a man who wore a starbuck t-shirt and had a pack of open dougnuts by the side.

“Where to?” he asked as i entered.

“Floral street.” I said and pulled my coat with me as i got comfortable, the cab was cleaner than seventy percent of the cabs in the city and i was happy with the turn out.

“Oh, do you have a family down there?” he asked as he started the ride, i stared at him wondering how he knew that.

“Oh, floral streets host one of the best family events, everyone is a big family down there, my mother stays there. I just figured that it may be that.” he said and i relaxed.

“Yeah, i’m just going to see an old family friend.” i replied trying to hold up the conversation.

The ride was short and not as bothersome as Pete the driver, didnt speak to me as he sang along to the song from the radio.
