Daphne’s POV

“You have to let me go to them” I begged once again, but I knew his response wasn’t changing anything soon, I was sick and tired and waiting around while the search for Rex went behind my back.

The way I was being underestimated and locked behind close doors was infuriating, honestly, and all I wanted was go all wolf searching for Rex.

Among them all, he was the first among the triplets to connect very well with me… I wouldn’t say I loved him yet because honestly, fate hasn’t given us a chance to grow at all in love.

From day one it had been troubles to troubles, from a mild one to another, and now this.

I wondered if this was how trapped tent felt when h wasn’t there. Never had I felt this lost and desperate, even to the extent of trying to sneak out, but getting caught several times in shameful and compromising positions.

“You know what I’d say, so why try?” Dad asked, hanging up abruptly to attend to my sulking self.
