“What in the hell is going on? I want to know who the hell is behind this attack. Our guys have been watching the pack and now this.” I yelled.
“All I can tell is that group came down from Canada. They have been hitting smaller packs. I do not think they had any idea that the Blue Lunar Eclipse Pack was not one of the small packs when they attacked. I believe that they thought it was like all the other pack they had already hit. I am sure they are regretting attacking the pack now.” Tillamuk explained.
Sofyia and I are currently sitting in Daniel’s living room. The two of us came to town today. Sofyia needed to pick up some shit she ordered for Bairn. She did not want it delivered to the house and him to see it. Ruari was not thrilled with the idea. I told all of them that we should act as if we have moved on and have gone back to our lives. I told them that we cannot let them dictate how we live our lives. Benny had come with us as per Ruari’s request. He was also here in the living room, and I think that is who was making Savannah so damn nervous. I looked at Sofyia and then at Daniel. He was watching Benny closely, but he did not seem to have as much of a problem with him being here as Savannah did.
“Do not even think about giving me that look. That shit does not work on me my dark princess.” I told her.“I would never do that. I know that look does not work on my big, strong alpha.” she said. Her voice had taken on a sultry tone as her fingers scraped down my chest. One caught
I once again looked up at the ceiling hoping some unseen deity would be watching. Clearly luck was not on my side. This is only day two of this long weekend and I already want to run out the back fucking door screaming. I am not sure what I was thinking when I decided that picking up two extra days was a good idea. Tarryn and Laveena had also picked up these last two days as well. We had a couple of our servers out with the flu. One of our cooks was also ours, that is why I was here. There was no one else to cover and since I am the boss it was my responsibility to find coverage and since I was unable to find coverage, I had no choice but to work.
“Where the fuck is she? We killed the bitch she was living with. I know she was there when the men invaded the house.” I roared.“I do not know boss. We knew she was there, but when the dust settled, she was no longer there. The men made damn sure that she was in the house when it was invaded. That bitch of a witch she was living with put up one hell of a fight, but we were able to kill her. We were not able to get any information from her before she died.” Syrreon said.“We think that the witch must have sensed the men coming and somehow, she was able to sneak the little whore out of the house. I went there the next day, and I did find footprints lead
Six Year LaterI huffed out a breath as another one of our servers came hurrying through the door. It was a particularly busy night here at the restaurant tonight. Then again that should not surprise me. Summer had ended and fall was in full swing. It was only a matter of time before the snow started falling here in Maine. I moved here three months ago after landing this amazing job. I had graduated high school when I was 16 which was just a few months before Delphynia had stormed into my room that night and told me to hurry and pack. I had just shoved most of my shit into my two bags before I ran out the back door of the house. I heard the front door being what I guessed was kicked in slamming against the wall as Delphynia screamed right before a bright light consumed the house. I ran into the woods as she unleased her magic on whoever had broken into the house. I had come to the small pond before I made myself tel
Once again, I could not find her. Her scent was the strongest near the edge of the neighborhoodclosest to the pond where many of us fished at. However, I could never find her exact location. I knew she had to live somewhere around there, but she was hiding from me. Why I was not sure, but I knew there was a reason. Her scent was a mix of cedarwood, amber, lilies and an ocean breeze. It confused and excited my wolf, Locke, and I. It was a strange but alluring mix of light and dark. Locke had finally been able to track the scent to a house. We had sniffed around the front of the house, but we had to be extremely careful. We had noticed that every fucking plant there was poisonous to us and every other supernatural species. The other strange thing about her scent was that we could not distinguish the species of supernatural she was. I had even spoken with my father and described her scent to him, but he was stumped as I was.
Fuck, my head hurt! I opened my eyes and found that I was in a dark room. I could hear other people, but I could not make out who or where they were. I sat up trying to get my barring's.“Fuck.!” I growled. When I tried to stand up, I banged my head on an extremely firm surface. I sat back down as I rubbed my head. It was already screaming at me and hitting it did not help matters. I looked around again and that is when I saw that I was in some sort of cage. The room we were in was not completely dark, but unless you had vision like us supernatural's have you would not be able to see. There was one small light bulb hanging from the ceiling in the far corner of the room. I could see several other cages all of which held women. I could also tell that all the women here, except me, were human. I
I lost my fucking shit when I saw her locked in the tiny ass cage. I was already pissed knowing they had the women locked in cages like fucking animals but seeing her made me and Locke snap. I ripped the lock off her damn cage. I was too big to squeeze through the doorway to get her. One of the warriors was able to contort his body enough to reach her. I let out a growl when he put his hands on, but I took a breath and reminded myself that he was helping to get her out of that damn cage. Once he had pulled her close, I bent down sliding my arms under her pulling her against my chest. She was unconscious and freezing. I saw Niven grab Sofyia carrying her out. The others had already helped the other women get out and they were being checked out and transported to the nearest hospital. Sofyia was giving Niven an attitude which is normal. She kept telling him she could walk. Niro, Niven’s father, came over and took her from him. She tried to tell him the same
