Chapter Five

"Gina." I heard the Alpha yell the minute we entered the pack house. I was exhausted and a little confused why he was calling out to another female. Picking me up bridal style he carried me up the stair case to our bedroom.

"Now you need to rest my beautiful Luna. Please listen to me when I say you must not leave this room until I say." he ordered me and I nodded in response. My eyelids were heavy and I couldn't stop yawning. Smiling as my alpha mate carefully tucked me into the huge king-size bed. The freshly made bed of satin sheets and cover was so deliciously comfortable, I could just sleep in it forever.

A knock at the door made my alpha spin around in anger, he did not like to be disturbed.Upon opening the door I caught a glimpse of the omgea girl who had been cold and unwelcoming to me. She looked afraid as the alpha towered over her, whispering something quietly that I could not quite catch.

I suddenly felt bad for her, assuming that he was  giving her a telling off for her attitude towards me.

"Alpha, please leave her alone, she was just a bit scared earlier that's all." I insisted sitting up in the bed and stretching my tired body out. They both turned to look my way and my face fell when I noticed the girl wearing the exact same necklace as me.

    My necklace.

I felt my neck for mine, panicking that it had  become lost or even stolen.

"Hey you, why do you have that same necklace. where did you get that from?" I jumped up from the bed, feeling the anger boil up inside me. This omgea girl had a lot to answer for. My wolf was absolutely fuming and eager to take over but I knew she would end up dead or seriously hurt. I didn't want that. I needed answers.

"Gina. That's your name isn't it?"  I yelled at her. She took a small step backwards, her body quivering as she burst into tears.

    "Answer me."

    She nodded her head.

"Where did you get that necklace?" I repeated.

"It, well it was my mother's. It is the only thing I have left of her before she died."

Holding the necklace tightly to her heart she let out a sob and opened her mouth to speak some more when the alpha interrupted.

"My Luna please calm down from acting so crazy and get back into bed. This stress is absolutely unnecessary. This omega was just leaving." he said, glaring at her. She hurried off down the hall leaving the pair of us alone again.

I didn’t expect him to act like that, I wanted to know more about her and that necklace. It couldn’t be a coincidence that it was the exact same as mine.

“Why did you make her leave?” I shrieked pushing passed him to run after her.

I screamed loudly as he scoped me up and placed me gently back onto the bed.

"Elora, you are being ridiculous. She is just a silly omega girl. It's merely a necklace. Nothing more." he said. I could hear the frustration in his tone. “Please, just get some rest and think nothing more of it please." he sighed. I was so mad that he was treating me like a naughty child. I’d show him!
