Chapter Seventeen

As I stormed out of the room, my anger and frustration were boiling over. How could my son, my own flesh and blood, dare to challenge me like that? And Elora, she was a constant reminder of my infidelity, a mistake I couldn't overlook. The thought of her being in my pack, in my territory, made my blood boil.

I needed to clear my head, to let go of all the pent-up rage and disappointment. I sprinted through the woods, my paws pounding against the forest floor. The wind rushed through my fur, cooling the fire burning inside me. My wolf howled in exhilaration, relishing the freedom of the run.

But, even in the midst of the adrenaline-fueled sprint, I couldn't escape the consequences of my actions. Images of Elora's tear-stained face flashed before my eyes, and guilt started to creep in.
