"Alpha she is awake." I heard an unfamiliar but soft female voice say as my eyes fluttered open. Everything was blurry around me but I could just make out a few figures huddled around me.
Where was I and who were these people? "Hello my dear. My name is Doctor Abbey and I am going to be looking after you. You have had a very nasty fall but I assure you that you will be fine after some rest." I felt the persons hand touch the top of mine as if she were trying to reassure me. I realised I was crying. I had no idea who these people around me were or how I had gotten there. "Alpha Isacc." I called out panicking as I looked around me and didn't recognise any of the eyes staring back at me. "Alpha Isacc please help me!" I yelled louder this time causing the doctor to frown. A figure entered the room and I immediately felt my heart go crazy and my body tingled. He looked straight at me before coming to my bedside. Without a word he picked up my hand and took it into his. Instantly calming me down. "You may leave now doctor." He said. "Certainly Alpha Ben."she nodded leaving the room and shutting the door behind her. I was left alone with this tall man but I felt a sense of security roll over me. She called him Alpha but he wasn't my Alpha. "Are you ... are you my mate?" I stuttered unable to take my eyes off this man stroking my hand and sending electric waves up and down my body. He gave me a smile and without a word he leant in to kiss my lips softly. Wow. "Indeed I am and you are my Luna. " he said. This could not be right surely. This guy was adamant that I was his mate and sure I felt the connection but it was happening so quickly. I tried to get up from the bed but he held his hand out stopping me. "You can't get up yet. You have had a nasty fall." He insisted. "I remember going into the forest and something was calling to me. I .. I don't remember what happened but my shoulder. It.. it... " I felt my shoulder and frowned as the memory of that stinging sensation as it flooded my mind. "What do you remember?" The Alpha demanded to know. "I was running and then I met someone and someone or something stabbed my shoulder. " I gasped remembering it all so clearly now. The Alpha nodded a flicker of anger crossed his face as he turned to the window obviously not wanting to recall it. "A rogue. A strange one we think was a spy of some sort. " He said. "A spy but why?" He turned back to face me and shook his head. He sat on the edge of the bed taking my hands into his. " All you need to know is you are safe and nothing and nobody will hurt you. I will not allow it." He insisted. A knock at the door made him jump up and growl angrily. "What is it?" He boomed making the wall of the room shake and a frightened voice from the other side of the door sounded. "Alpha we have found the rogue in question." The Alpha immediately flew to the door forcing it open with such force I was shocked it didn't fall off the hinges. Standing in front of the alpha was a man about six feet tall and muscular body. He had a beard and piecing blue eyes. Turning to me, he stroked my hair and kissed my forehead. Assuring me that everything was just fine. I only nodded in response, unable to breath a word. "Beta Daniel let's go into my office and talk further." He insisted and left me all alone in the room for a few seconds before the friendly doctor came bustling in with a smile on her face and plate of food in her hands. My stomach grumbled loudly at the sight of food. I hadn't realised I was absolutely starving. "Luna, I hope you are satisfied with this selection of sandwiches. You need your energy." I wasn't sure how I felt about being called Luna but I guess it was something that I was going to get used to eventually. I smiled gratefully as I demolished the delicious sandwiches. Ham, cheese and mayonnaise. My absolute favourite. After a few minutes I pushed the plate away feeling satisfied from eating. I had so many questions but the doctor was abit hesitant to give me any clues about anything. "Now you need to just worry about getting healed. Now you're healing very quickly but the Alpha has insisted that you stay here for now. " I raised my eyebrows at her words. The Alpha may be an alpha but he had no say over me staying in bed when I felt fine. " If as you all seem to put it, that I am his Luna then you should very much know that I am within my own rights to leave this bed." The doctor looked shocked at my words. "But the Alpha shall be back any moment." I smiled at the worry in her tone. "My Luna what are you doing?" I heard his voice and looked up in surprise. Giving him a smirk I swung my legs over the bed and made to get up but he was quickly by my side demanding that I listen to his orders. "I am from the Blue mountain pack therefore it is my own alpha Isacc that can give me such orders. Now if you will excuse me I better be getting home before I am found to be missing." I told them. I watched as the doctor gasped and took a step backwards. The Alpha Ben looked furious. "Do you realise that the blue mountain pack are not who you think them to be?" He growled angrily at me. Not who I think them to be? What nonsense was this Alpha talking about. Of course I knew exactly who my pack were. I may have been different from the others but they were still my family and would never allow any danger to come to me. I should never have left my pack house. I knew that they would be worried for my safety. This is probably the reason why Alpha Isacc didn't approve of me leaving anyone's sight. The world was crazy. First I had been attacked by some awful rogue and now I was being told I was the Luna to another packs alpha who just so happened to be my mate. A pack I had never even heard of let alone seen in my whole twenty one years of being alive. It couldn't be true. "You are to stay here where I can fully protect you. I will not allow you out of my sight. That, my Luna is for your own good.I am the Alpha." He insisted very firmly. I didn't want to listen to his words but a part of me knew as his mate that I could not leave him."Please don't leave me." Tears running down my cheeks as I ran after the figure that was quickly out of my sight. My little legs helpless to catch up. The darkness scared me, I hugged my bear bear tightly and squeezed my eyes shut. "Elora. Elora. Are you ok my dear." I woke to someone shaking the shit out of me. Sitting up in the strange bed and taking in my surroundings. I must have had that dream again. They were getting pretty frequent now. They never made any sense. The person leaving me was a blur. I had no idea who or where it was. People told me it was just a dream but it was always the same. Feeling a little embarrassed at the hunk standing over me with such concern, I hid my face childishly under the soft white pillows. Groaning out loud and wishing I was not in this situation. "Shh my sweet baby, you're safe now." He pulled me into his chest and kissed my forehead. I closed my eyes and breathed in his strong aroma. Was I still dreaming. Thoug
The hungry looking rogues circled us, smacking their lips together and growling. Rachel pulled me into her and let out a kick to one of the rogues. She was a great fighter while I just stood their like a useless idiot. Picking up a long stick beside me I poked one of the rogues in the eye making him yell out in pain. Buying myself a few more minutes to think, I found myself wishing I could reach Ben by mindlink. "We're coming. Don't worry." His voice filled my mind and I squeaked in response. How the hell did that happen? Having no time to process these sudden unexpected mind link powers, I ran and jumped as high as I could muster, at the nearest tree. Clinging onto a branch with all my strength I managed to climb up on it before the rogue beneath me attempted to pull me down. Seconds later the rogue was shot dead by someone in the bushes opposite. I screamed in panic but then out jumped Ben and Daniel in their wolf forms along with a few of the warriors
"Gina." I heard the Alpha yell the minute we entered the pack house. I was exhausted and a little confused why he was calling out to another female. Picking me up bridal style he carried me up the stair case to our bedroom. "Now you need to rest my beautiful Luna. Please listen to me when I say you must not leave this room until I say." he ordered me and I nodded in response. My eyelids were heavy and I couldn't stop yawning. Smiling as my alpha mate carefully tucked me into the huge king-size bed. The freshly made bed of satin sheets and cover was so deliciously comfortable, I could just sleep in it forever. A knock at the door made my alpha spin around in anger, he did not like to be disturbed.Upon opening the door I caught a glimpse of the omgea girl who had been cold and unwelcoming to me. She looked afraid as the alpha towered over her, whispering something quietly that I could not quite catch. I suddenly felt bad for her, assuming that he was giving her a tel
I could not stop thinking about that necklace and how this girl has come to get it. She wore it as if her life depended on it. I did not see her the next morning and nobody seemed to want to explain her whereabouts to me which was actually really irritating me. I guessed that the alpha had something to do with her sudden disappearance and it did not make me feel any better at all. It was as if they were all hiding some big secret from me and I was going to find out what it was. " Would you like some breakfast dear Luna?" The beta came strolling across the hall and linked my arm as if trying to lead me away from the corridor that led to yet another row of rooms. I wondered if they were hiding her in there. "Where is that girl. Gina?" I demanded to know pulling myself away from the beta. He looked shocked at my outburst. "Luna please do not worry yourself with a worthless omega slave. The alpha has had to pop out to run a few errands but he has informed me that he will be ba
It was really late by the time Ben finally made an appearance in the pack house and I was really bored of being ignored by all these pack members. Nobody wanted to talk to me so I spent most of my time in the bedroom sitting on the bed wondering what the hell I had gotten myself into. I couldn’t exactly escape when his stupid beta had insisted on having guards scattered around the place to prevent me leaving. I was being held prisoner for not wanting to listen to some stupid rules. What I needed was to get back home and find out the truth because nothing made any sense. The beta and his sister kept checking on me throughout the day as if afraid I would do something stupid. But nobody wanted to tell me anything about Gina or that necklace. “I’m so sorry I was out a long time.” The alpha exclaimed the second he entered the huge bedroom. I looked up at him glumly not wanting to waste another moment of my time on his nonsense. He stared at my bags and back at me with a q
How my men had been unable to find the silly shewolf was beyond me. She was a fool for leaving the packhouse. She could have been caught and killed by rogues for all I knew. I had my men out around the clock searching for her but not a clue. It was as if she had never existed. “Stupid girl.” I banged my fist down onto the table spilling my warm mug of coffee over some papers. I cursed under my breath as the door flew open to reveal my beta. He looked exhausted from stress. I was probably no better with my lack of sleep finally caving in on me. This she wolf had a lot to answer for. “We cannot find her.” He sighed glumly swinging around in the leather office chair. I sat back in my own chair and stroked my chin thoughtfully. “Perhaps she is at another pack. Maybe they have kept her hostage for a ransom.” The idea made me sound crazy but I was out of explanations by now. The next thing I knew my warrior on guard at the main gates of my land was knocking frantically at m
I gripped Bens hand as the car pulled up to my old packhouse. I immediately spotted Alpha Issac walking towards us, he wore a blank expression so it was difficult for me to predict what mood he was in. Ben stroked my hand and assured me that everyone was going to be just fine. “Alpha Ben. What can I do for you?” Alpha Issac greeted him with such friendliness that it gave me a bit of hope that everyone was going to be fine. “Elora has been concerned that you would be worrying about her. I understand she left without prior warning.” Ben stated. “She would like to collect her things.” I held my breath as I waited for Alpha Issac to answer. His response threw me. “Oh, my dear Elora, we were so worried about you but what lovely news that you found your mate. I am sure you will be very happy together.” He was letting me go without any problem. I could easily have jumped up to sing and dance in delight but I held back. Ben beamed at me and I allowed him to take my ha
I woke up feeling so uncomfortable and it took me a few moments to realise that I was locked up in the lowest dungeon. There was no window and no light. It reeked of mould and other unsightly things. I felt sick and wished that I had never left the packhouse that night. I tried to stand up from the floor but was pulled back by something which made me scream because I realised I was chained to the wall like an animal. The door clicked open and I blinked as light flooded the tiny dungeon. Alpha Isaac. “Did you really think I was going to just let you leave like that? All these years I’ve kept you safe and well looked after. This is how you think it’s ok to repay me?” He was furious to say the least. I tried my best to hold back the tears but I was afraid, my body trembled as he stepped towards me. Standing only a few metres from my side. “You disgust me.” He spat in my face and forced me to my knees. The pain making me cry out loudly, causing him to then slap me around
