“Ouch,” cried Emily. She was rubbing her hands. “What’s wrong?” asked Joshua, he ran back to her. “I fell and scrapped my hands.” Joshua lifted her sleeves up and saw that she was indeed bleeding. Her skin was scrap and some of her skins were peeled back. He blew on her elbows to try to help ease her pain. “Ouch,” said Emily. “Stop moving,” said Joshua. “But it hurts.” “I know, that’s why I’m blowing on it.” Joshua leaned into her and blow on her hands again. Emily looked at him and was admiring his handsome face. How close he was to her. She smiled and the pain in her hands was suddenly gone. “Come on, let’s go. There’s a first aid kit in the cabin.” Emily nodded. Joshua stood up and helped her get up on her feet. “Ow,” groaned Emily. “What’s wrong?” asked Joshua. Emily bent back down. Her knees were also scrapped and she was bleeding. Joshua gasped. “Oh, your bleeding.” Emily nodded. “Come here.” Emily walked to him. Joshua in one swoop lifted her into his arms. “
“Joshua? Joshua,” whisper Emily’s voice. “Emily?” groaned Joshua. “Wake up. You’re going to be late for work.” “What?” “You’re going to be late, so get up and take a shower. I got your breakfast ready.” “Emily?” asked Joshua, shaking his head. “What is it?” “Emily… You’re-You’re still here.” “Yes. Did you need something?” Joshua’s breathing quickened and he grabbed her tiny waist and pulled her to him. He held her against his body and kissed her. “Mmmph, Joshua,” groaned Emily. “Emily, how I miss you.” “Oh, I miss you too,” said Emily. Joshua eagerly kissed her lips. Beep. Beep. Beep. Joshua’s alarm clock went off. Joshua jerk himself awake. He woke up all sweaty. He lifted the bedsheet and found himself hard. “Crap,” he groaned. Beep. Beep. Beep. His alarm clock still going off. Joshua leaned over and turned off the alarm. He groaned as he woke up from his dreams. Sighing he got up and went to take a shower. As he was showering he chuckled as he was going insane. D
FLASHBACK JUNIOR YEAR OF HIGH SCHOOL (Third year of high school) “Joshua, did you hear that we got a new student?” asked Victor. Victor is Joshua’s best friend. “Oh, do we?” questioned Joshua. “Yes, I heard that she’s pretty smart, so she’s in a few class with us.” “Oh. That’s cool.” “I heard she’s cute too.” “Hmm.” “What? As handsome as you are, shouldn’t you be surrounding yourself with girls.” “Pfft.” “What? You don’t seem to be interested in any girl at all. Why is that?” “I know,” said Dan. Dan was Joshua’s second best friend. “Who?” asked Victor. Joshua stared at Dan. “He’s not into girls, but guys,” laughed Dan. Joshua said in a nonchantantly voice, “No. I’m into girls.” “Then who?” asked Victor. “Not saying, Not telling. Not caring.” “Oh, then maybe you’re interested in girls from other school?” “Maybe?” “Who?” Joshua stared at Victor and didn’t say anything. “Fine,” pouted Victor. “But what about our school?” asked Dan. “What about our school?” asked
JOSHUA’S POV When they were in high school, Emily and him would often get seated together. For that Joshua didn’t mind. He like being close to her. Whenever she dropped her pens or pencils he would lean over and pick it up to her. Every time he hand it to her he would get to glance at her. Even if she just softly smile at him, he was happy. For she at least noticed him. Everytime he mustered up the courage to talk to her, she was busy talking to other people. She was always accompanied by other boys or always other girls. Joshua couldn’t talk to her even if he wanted to. When there are times when Emily is alone, he couldn’t talk to her as he was always dragged by his friends to go somewhere or do something. As time went on he noticed that Emily didn’t have a lot of friends. Wanting to keep her company, he would stay close to her. When he turns around Emily would be following him. He would smile that she follows him around. “It’s good that I got her tame well enough that she stays
Knock. Knock. “Who is it?” asked Joshua. “It’s me, Butler Shawn,” answered Shawn. “Come in,” said Joshua, picking off the glasses on their wedding picture frame. “Young master MacClare,” said Butler Shawn. “What is it?” asked Joshua. “I found out some details about your ex-wife, Emily.” “What did you find?” “I found out that Emily have indeed been working the entire time she’s been married to you.” “How?” asked Joshua, looking at Butler Shawn. He thought it was odd as Emily have always been home and stayed home. She never gone anywhere but staying home most of the time. Besides those times when she leaves to take money or spending times with those other men. “Your ex-wife, umm…” “What is it?” Joshua was fearing what butler shawn was going to say. “Please, say that she is anything else but a leecher,” he thought. “She’s a professional trader.” “What?” “She’s a day trader.” “I know what day trader is.” “Oh. Well, Emily trader nearly everyday when she’s not busy with the
“Joshua are you almost ready?” asked his mother. “Yes, mother.” “How I miss your voice Emily,” whispered Joshua. “Who are you talking to?” asked his mother. “No one,” said Joshua, putting on his tie. “Are you talking to youself again?” “No.” “You sure?” asked Vicky, folding her arms together. “What is it mother?” “Nothing, I was just checking to see what’s taking you so long.” “Nothing is wrong. I was just exhausted from last night’s work. I was also having trouble waking up this morning.” “Oh, do you want me to call up a doctor.” “No.” “I’m sure if Emily is here, she would be best to help you with that.” Joshua frowned and said, “Yes, she would. But she’s not here now. So, I will do the best I can without her.” “You miss her don’t you?” Joshua didn’t say anything as he fixed his tie to correlate with his shirt. “I heard you calling out her name this morning again.” Joshua paused and turned his head to his mother. “Did I?” “Yes. Yes, you did son.” “Well, I was drea
“Emily!” exclaimed Vicky. Emily saw Vicky running up to her window. Vicky was tapping on the window loudly. Emily rolled down the window and asked, “Yes?” “Please, give him another chance.” “Who?” frowned Emily. “Joshua.” Emily frowned deepended and she said, “No.” “Please.” “No.” “Then, do it for me.” Emily scoffed. “Why would I do anything for you? You hated me. You made sure to tell me that every day. Not only that you showed it in your personality of yours every single day while I was married to him. Expressing how much you depise a poor woman like me, marrying to your son.” Vicky’s face paled immediately. She tightened her fists into her purse and thought, “Right now, I mustn’t let my emotions gets the best of me. I have to do this for my son. For Joshua. He’s misrable. I have to help fix what’s left of them. I must do something to bring them together. I just can’t let her walk away like this. It’s all because of a misunderstanding. If we weren’t fooled we wouldn’t be

Joshua have a grinned across his face and asked, “How long?” Emily looked at him with a smile on her face, “For-For a long time now.” “You’re following me around all the time and all day long just to tell me this?” “Yes.” “What are you hoping to get?” "Well, your feelings." "What about my feelings." "I want to know how you feel about me." "You wouldn't care about my feelings." Emily frowned at him. "What do you mean?" "I meant do you really care about my feelings?" "Yes. Yes, of course I would," said Emily. "You know I do." Defending herself from Joshua's accusation. "Promise?" "Promise."
