Chapter 45: Caressing His Face

A tear dripped down the side of Emily’s face. “Joshua, how much misunderstanding we have that day. You always believed I drugged you. You believed that I led you to my room. You believed I set you up. You believe that I have wronged you. You never believed a single word I said. You never once trust me. You never loved me,” she thought.

Emily sniffled back her tears as she didn’t want to cry from the memories she couldn’t change.

Joshua frowned in his sleep then he seemed to have a nightmare as he started sleep talking.

Emily thought not to wake him up, but Joshua started mumbling more and more in his sleep. Sounding aggressive.

“No. No!” shouted Joshua. He started to fling his arms around.

Concerned that Joshua might hurt himself, she got up and tried to stop him from swinging his fist around.

“NOOO!” screamed Joshua. His eyes was still closed.

“What is this? Is he still dreaming?” she thought.
