I couldn't help but think about the woman who stepped out of Jason's office. Who was she? She didn't seem like a student. Did Jason know her? Are they friends?

Standing in front of Connor's office. I took a deep breath to clear my mind. I knocked once and heard a loud noise coming in.

Stepping inside I closed the door behind me as he passed me a smile.

"Come sit, April," Connor said motioning at the chair in front of his table.

"Thank you," I mumbled and he gave a nod.

"How are you feeling on the first day at university?" He queried.

"It's exciting. I was nervous before but now I'm feeling good and happy." I answered truthfully and he smiled clasping his hands together.

"I knew you before even meeting you in person," Connor said and my brows raised.

"Because of Jason?" I asked and Connor bobbed his head.

"Yeah. I was curious about you for a long time. Jason never showed interest in any girl except you, so my curiosity was valid." Connor said with a light chuckle as I smiled lo
