Chapter 52

The next day I was standing near the lockers when Susan appeared at my side as she greeted me and I greeted her back. I got my books and turned to walk with her when I almost collided with someone but that person instantly stepped back hence saving both of us.

"I'm sorry, I was in a hurry," I said while looking up only to find Ryan standing in front of me.

"Oh, good morning, and no worries," He passed me a pearly grin and I swear I heard the girls in the corner purr at him. I passed him a tight-lipped smile as we both walked past him.

When we were at a distance from Ryan, Susan spoke up though Ryan was coming behind us because we are in the same class. "He's totally into you," Susan whispered in my ear and I gave her a muddled look. "I don't think so," I whispered back and she gave me a look that meant we'll see.

In the class, I sat with Susan because I didn't want to sit with the girl from yesterday who kept on thinking that Jason was looking at her.
