Chapter 14
Reese decides to sleep in her office for the night. She walks down to Kat’s dressing room to take a shower. She hopes there are no cameras in the damn shower. Reese is distraught but trying to hold herself together as she steps into Kat’s shower.
She stands in the hot water trying to calm down. She uses Kat’s shampoo and conditioner to wash her hair. She grabs a clean washcloth off the rack just outside of the shower and Kat’s body wash. She washes herself. She begins to cry uncontrollably. Reese sits down in the shower to let the hot water rinse away her tears.
She leans her head back against the shower wall when she hears a noise. “Great Luca probably left the door open and someone has snuck in here,” she says.
“Reese,” Kat hollers.
“I am in your shower,” Reese hollers back.

Reese wakes up before Kat. She takes her blanket and covers Kat up with it. She has made her decision. She walks down the hall to her office. She takes a box out of the closet in the hall. She walks into her office and starts packing up her things. She takes out her company cell and puts it on the desk. Reese sleeps through the day. She is mentally and physically exhausted. She hasn’t been feeding properly. She has to get her life on a regular schedule again. Luca has been problematic. Roman and Luca pull up to the R bar one hour after getting the text from Kat. “She is going to be pissed we came early,” Roman says.Luca doesn’t say anything.
