Chapter 13
Thomas drives Reese back to the studio to pick up her car. “I am sorry,” Reese says.
Thomas reaches for Reese and gives her a devilish smile. “For what? You have nothing to be sorry for. It is not your fault Luca was being a dick. It seems to be what he does best right?” Thomas says.
Reese laughs. “You are right. He is a dick,” she says.
“So what is the deal anyway? You guys date or what?” Thomas asks.
“Not exactly. It is complicated,” Reese says.
The two pull up to the studio. “I have a bottle of bourbon in my office,” Reese says.
“Is that an invitation,” Thomas asks.
“I believe it is,” Reese says.
Thomas gets out of his car and walks around to let Reese out. He opens her door and takes her by the hand.
Reese takes the studio main door key out of her purse and opens the door. The two walk down the main hall to the back

Reese decides to sleep in her office for the night. She walks down to Kat’s dressing room to take a shower. She hopes there are no cameras in the damn shower. Reese wakes up before Kat. She takes her blanket and covers Kat up with it. She has made her decision. She walks down the hall to her office. She takes a box out of the closet in the hall. She walks into her office and starts packing up her things. She takes out her company cell and puts it on the desk. She removes her company card and car keys from her purse and places them on the desk.Reese turns on her computer and forwards all her emails to Luca. She takes two pieces of paper off of the printer and pens a note for Kat. She spends time on it making sure Kat knows she is positive this is the right move. Luca’s note was much simpler. Reese sleeps as Roman and Kat get to know one another. Sparks are flying between the two of them. Reese sleeps through the day. She is mentally and physically exhausted. She hasn’t been feeding properly. She has to get her life on a regular schedule again. Luca has been problematic. Roman and Luca pull up to the R bar one hour after getting the text from Kat. “She is going to be pissed we came early,” Roman says.Luca doesn’t say anything.
