Chapter 12
Reese wraps everything up for the night. Daniel drops by her office.
“Are you about ready?” Daniel asks.
“Daniel I am going to meet everyone there. You are going to the Dungeon Bar right?” Reese says.
“Yeah. Unless you want to go somewhere else?” Daniel asks.
“No. I think Luca is coming as well as his PA. His PA Thomas is riding with me. I believe everyone is coming,” Reese says.
“Okay. Sounds good,” Daniel says. Reese could tell he was disappointed.
She knew she should have dinner with him one night but nothing more. She really didn’t want him to get the wrong idea since they had to work together on a daily basis. She knew how well that had worked for her in the past.
Reese finishes up with her work and shuts down her computer. She looks up to see Kat smiling at her.

Thomas drives Reese back to the studio to pick up her car. “I am sorry,” Reese says.Thomas reaches for Reese and gives her a devilish smile. “For what? You have nothing to be sorry for. Reese decides to sleep in her office for the night. She walks down to Kat’s dressing room to take a shower. She hopes there are no cameras in the damn shower. Reese is distraught but trying to hold herself together as she steps into Kat’s shower.She stands in the hot water trying to calm down. She uses Kat’s shampoo and conditioner to wash her hair. Reese wakes up before Kat. She takes her blanket and covers Kat up with it. She has made her decision. She walks down the hall to her office. She takes a box out of the closet in the hall. She walks into her office and starts packing up her things. She takes out her company cell and puts it on the desk. She removes her company card and car keys from her purse and places them on the desk.Reese turns on her computer and forwards all her emails to Luca. She takes two pieces of paper off of the printer and pens a note for Kat. She spends time on it making sure Kat knows she is positive this is the right move. Luca’s note was much simpler. Reese sleeps through the day. She is mentally and physically exhausted. She hasn’t been feeding properly. She has to get her life on a regular schedule again. Luca has been problematic. Roman and Luca pull up to the R bar one hour after getting the text from Kat. “She is going to be pissed we came early,” Roman says.Luca doesn’t say anything.
