Chapter Eleven
Reese begins working at the studio every night avoiding Luca. He has been cold to her since the day they had sex on his office floor. He told no one she was a vampire. He did not fire her but stayed distant.
Kat observed the tension between them when they were all together but did not mention it or say a word. Reese and Luca both keep it professional.
Kat and Reese become inseparable. Reese became a great advocate for the girls working at the studio. She was on their side first. To hell with production or the bottom line she took care of the woman first.
The studio was doing better than ever. Luca nor anyone else could say a word to her. She took care of business. Reese buried herself in her work and her work was the studio.
It’s been two months since Luca had a real conversation with Reese. He has to be at the studio tonight and he knows Reese will be there.

Thomas drives Reese back to the studio to pick up her car. “I am sorry,” Reese says.Thomas reaches for Reese and gives her a devilish smile. “For what? You have nothing to be sorry for. Reese decides to sleep in her office for the night. She walks down to Kat’s dressing room to take a shower. She hopes there are no cameras in the damn shower. Reese is distraught but trying to hold herself together as she steps into Kat’s shower.She stands in the hot water trying to calm down. She uses Kat’s shampoo and conditioner to wash her hair. She grabs a clean washcloth off the rack just outside of the shower and Kat’s body wash. She washes herself. She begins to cry uncontrollably. Reese wakes up before Kat. She takes her blanket and covers Kat up with it. She has made her decision. She walks down the hall to her office. She takes a box out of the closet in the hall. She walks into her office and starts packing up her things. She takes out her company cell and puts it on the desk. She removes her company card and car keys from her purse and places them on the desk.Reese turns on her computer and forwards all her emails to Luca. She takes two pieces of paper off of the printer and pens a note for Kat. She spends time on it making sure Kat knows she is positive this is the right move. Luca’s note was much simpler. Reese sleeps as Roman and Kat get to know one another. Sparks are flying between the two of them. Reese sleeps through the day. She is mentally and physically exhausted. She hasn’t been feeding properly. She has to get her life on a regular schedule again. Luca has been problematic.
