Ethan's pov.

Sarah looked at me with some surprise at my presence there. "Oh, you came?" She asked in surprise.

I frowned, pulling up one of the chairs there and joining them because it seemed like they were still enjoying their conversation earlier, and I didn't want to make it to an end. "Yes, I told you earlier." Did she not hear me well because she was talking and the place was also crowded?

I was still looking at her, noticing the changed look on her face. Looking like she was not feeling good about me. Is she still feeling reluctant and not wanting to burden me, or is she acting like that because she thinks I'm not someone she can rely on? I'm sure those are two of the reasons.

So I turned my gaze in another direction, pretending not to know about the expression on his face.

"So we're going home now?" She picked up her bag and slung it over her arm while looking at me.
