Sarah's pov

I turned my head and saw Alex there. Instantly, my mood improved because I had been meeting and getting positive vibes from my surroundings all day. It suddenly became gloomy and bad just because of seeing him in the same place as me.

My eyes stared cynically and sharply at him, filled with distaste. "It's none of your business what I'm busy doing," I answered him curtly, turning away from him and staring bemusedly in the other direction because I honestly didn't want to respond to him. "Lila, let's go." I looked at Lila, who was still sitting there while Ethan's hand was already in mine, and I wanted to dance him out.

But Alex blocked my way. He stood right before me and forced me to stop my steps.
