Boma drew close to the two. As she reached them, the man opened his arms inviting her for a hug.

She went into his arms, feeling self-conscious but a bit relaxed because of his warm reception. She reminded herself to stay guarded. She already suspected him of being a bad influence on his grandson, so it would be wise for her to maintain caution.

She managed to stop herself from inhaling his aromatic perfume. She had come to know that wealthy people often smelled great. They never hesitated to purchase high-end things. It reminded her of Donovan who had not hesitated to consider buying her an expensive phone.

After the brief hug, Ronald looked at his grandson with pride. “She is so beautiful.” He said approvingly. “You have good eyes for lovely things, just like your grandpa.”

Donovan smirked at Boma and gave her a quick wink before responding to his father with a smug expression on his face.
