CHAPTER 26: Betrayal Echo.

Sebastian felt a pang of frustration as he saw Sarah in his office once again. He couldn’t comprehend why she insisted on trying to reconcile after everything that had transpired between them.

His mind was already clouded with his own internal conflicts, and this unexpected encounter added another layer of complexity.

“What are you doing here again, Sarah? I’ve asked you before, and I’ll say it again. We can’t go back to how things were.” Sebastian said, his tone firm but weary.

“Just stop coming here!”

Sarah, however, was persistent. “Sebastian, we were good together. I miss us. Can’t we just try to work things out?” She moved closer, attempting to touch his arm.

He stepped back, creating some distance. “Sarah, what we had was in the past, and I don’t go back; I move forward. So stop coming here!”

“Are you seeing someone else?” she asked, the countenance on her face changing.

“How’s that, you goddamn business? Just get the hell out of my office, Sarah!” he yelled at her, pointing to
