CHAPTER 45: The Act.

Erica checked herself in the mirror wearing a new outfit that Connor had gotten for her last night. She tried it on and was satisfied that it fits her perfectly.

When she was done, she grabs her bag and headed out of her dorm room to join Lisa and James outside their dorm rooms.

James and Lisa were chatting excitedly when they saw her walking towards them.

“Hey, Erica!” Lisa said, waving at her.

Then the two of them noticed her new dress.

“Wow, Erica!” James said, his eyes wide.

“You look amazing! Where did you get that dress?”

“Oh, thank you!” Erica said, blushing slightly.

They walked towards the hallway leading to their class and when they got to the lecture hall and sat down.

Lisa turned and faced Erica.

“Last night, while I was taking a walk, I noticed that a guy dropped you off at the gate of our dorm…who was it?”

Erica smiled slightly, “Yeah….”

Lisa didn’t say anything as she waited eagerly for Erica to let the cat out of the bag.
