CHAPTER TWENTY SEVEN

Back in Grimoire town, Jake was sitting across Thomas on a table at his bar. It was noon, so the place wasn't busy yet.

"What?!" Thomas exclaimed as Jake narrated to him how he had found out that he had a son..and Claire was the mother.

"Are you sure!"

"Yes Thomas...I am"

"But that's almost impossible...!"

"Seems Claire is special after all.." Jake smiled.

"It's not funny Jake! She could have died!"

"I know Thomas, and I assure you, it wasn't intentional...I can't even start to explain what that woman has done to my head since that night, when I first met her...I couldn't even control myself with her!"

"Point is, Thomas, I didn't intentionally put her in harm's way "
