It has been three weeks now since Emerald came back. I can tell her and my sons are getting closer but I can tell that she has still not fully given into the bond. Something is still holding her back. She has gotten a lot better since Nalena figured out that her family placed a spell on the ear cuff that her mother had given her for her birthday. I would like to say I was surprised that they pulled something like this but I am not. They aren’t powerful enough to put a spell on her directly so they cast a spell on something they knew she would never take off. I am glad that she had mentioned something to Nate about the weird voices. If she wouldn’t have we may have never been able to break the spell.
