Chapter Forty Three

Uther PoV

If I could go back in time, I’d correct my mistakes. Unfortunately, it was too late, and those mistakes would haunt to my grave.

The sad part was, I was not the only one suffering for my mistake, my entire family was, especially my two sons, Maximo and Marco.

“Your Majesty,” the palace maids greeted me as they went about their affairs. I merely nodded to acknowledge their greeting while I continued to brood as I took an evening walk through the palace garden.

The setting sun created a blast of colors in the sky that were so pleasant to look out that it would bring tears to any nature lover. Lovers of nature like me often appreciated the beauties in nature that other people simply ignore.

If Ayana were here, she would have teased me for being soft, and then she would paint the beautiful sky for me.
