Chapter Sixteen

Today was the day of the Alpha Ascension ceremony. I was finishing up pinning my hair, when I heard Kaine behind me. I could see him looking about me hungrily from his reflection in my vanity mirror. I set the curls in my hair with some light hairspray and finished my look by applying a thin layer of lipgloss and popping my lips. I was already dressed, I only needed to slip on my matching heels. Kaine looked very handsome in his well tailored suit. He looked like something spun out of one of those trashy billionaire stories. He made me ache in places, and all I wanted to do was tear that perfect looking suit off of him and force him to take me, though I resisted the urge.

"You look hot as hell." He whispered in one of my ears as I stood to make my way to the closet. I retreived my shoes, attempting not to blush with his words. "I will escort you down, this is a day for us too. I'm gonna become Alpha and soon after, you'll be my Luna. Unless you're having second thoughts?" Kaine said
