Chapter Twelve

I was a complete nervous wreck. I didn't want to see my mother this soon. The emotional and physical scars that I received from that woman were still fresh in my mind. I wanted nothing to do with her. Though a lot of what Kaine said made sense. It seemed that Reyna and Kaine were in agreement on that much. I needed to understand the truth about my past, in order to understand how to carve my future. This information not only impacted me, but my brother as well. It was his life too. I sighed, I had stood underneath the streams of water in the shower until it had basically ran cold.
