"He was her warmth. She was his peace. And they fit each other perfectly."
Genevieve didn't think Mr. Alvaro was so bad. In fact, he was an actual gentleman.
Ever since they left the Mayor's office, not once did he take his hands off of her. His huge and calloused hands wrapped around her small ones. It would also travel to her small hips to assist her when walking.
The height difference between the two of them was apparent. The little wife only came up on Alvaro's chest, and he would stare down at her whenever he had the chance.
Now, during lunch, he still couldn't take his eyes off of her.
They just finished ordering their food and Alvaro insisted that the two of them get to know each other. They would be living together under one roof, after all.
"Uhm..." her gentle voice made him feel something he wasn't familiar with.
Genevieve Cortes. She was so different from all the other women. She was so... innocent.
Other women would have thrown themselves to him, begging for him to fuck them in bed or just give them attention. They would kneel and ask for his body, his power, his everything.
He was so used to desperate women all around him, but this girl. This Genevieve was special.
She was perfect.
Her light blue eyes were the opposite of his dark brown. Her flushed cheeks the opposite of his bearded chin. Her long chestnut hair hugging her body perfectly, dancing against the wind.
And her lips. God, her lips. He could devour them right then and there.
A gentle color of pink. Even only looking at it, he knew that it would be heaven to feel those soft lips against his.
He couldn't wait to taste her. All of her.
Genevieve opened her mouth, and Alvaro forced himself to listen to what she had to share.
"Do-do you have pets at your home?" she asked.
Alvaro pondered for a while before answering her, her last words sticking in his mind.
"It is our home now, Genevieve." he said, his deep voice resounding in her ears. It was so deep and so... sexy. "And yes, I do. I have a Rottweiler and a Dobermann."
Genevieve racked her brain to think of the features of the dog, but she couldn't find any memory of encountering those kinds of dogs in her life.
At home, well, former home, she only had a black and white Border Collie named Sadie. Sadly, she passed away two years ago. Sadie grew up with Genevieve, and she missed her so.
She didn't mind now, though. She accepted that her Sadie was in a beautiful place. A dog paradise with plenty of treats and toys for her.
"What are their names?" she asked again.
"Nada. They have none." [Nothing]
The girl’s eyes widened, and Alvaro immediately knew what her next question was.
"But-but why?" her voice raised towards the end of her question, her eyes like saucers. She was so curious.
"Because..." he thought for a moment "I was waiting for you. You, mi Genevieve, will name them when we get home."
That was a lie. Alvaro didn't bother to name his two big dogs. It wasn't essential, they were just there to guard the house whenever he wasn't there.
'They didn't need names' Alvaro thought then, but now, seeing Genevieve's eyes with wonder as the thought of naming them, it didn't seem so bad.
"Really?" her hands were clasped together with excitement, her voice loud "I-I could name them, Mr. Alvaro?"
'Mr. Alvaro's brows furrowed. He forgot that he needed to tell her to stop calling him that.
She wasn't a business partner, nor an employee, she shouldn't call him 'Mr.' or Señor. It wasn't for her to use.
She was his wife now.
And she needed to know that.
Genevieve saw how his eyes darkened and stopped. Her smile slowly dropped. Did she do something wrong? Did she say something wrong?
What did she do?
"You do not get to call me Mr. Alvaro, Genevieve." his deep voice answered her thoughts.
If not Mr. Alvaro, then what should she call him?
Without words, Genevieve tilted her head to the side, her question hanging in the air.
Alvaro Dominguez quickly answered.
"You call me Alvaro. You are the only one who gets to call me that."
Genevieve's smile made its way back to her face, her eyes glistening with joy.
'The only one?' she thought. 'That means I'm special!'
Genevieve wanted to hit herself on the forehead. 'Of course, I'm special! I'm his wife! Duh!'
Alvaro only watched in entertainment as Genevieve talked to herself, her brows furrowing and her lips slowly moving.
Adorable.
The waiter approached them, immediately recognizing the man who was towering his seat. He shakingly placed their food in front of the couple, eyes down.
He was curious as to who the beautiful woman was but couldn't find the courage to look and see. He wasn't ready to face the wrath of Alvaro Dominguez.
No one was.
Genevieve quickly thanked the waiter, appreciating his service. The two of them quietly ate, conversing in between.
When they finished, Alvaro paid for the bill and ushered Genevieve out the restaurant, wanting to go home and rest.
He wanted to make sure that Genevieve rests, too.
The drive home was quick, and his wife was already asleep when they stopped in front of the extravagant home.
Not bothering to wake her up, Alvaro gently carried her sleeping form and made it inside the house.
They entered the giant front door and the fancy living space on the first floor.
Alvaro planned to give his wife a separate room, opposite of his on the other wing of the house. But seeing how and who she was now, he wasn't planning on being away from her for a long time.
Reaching his room, he gently eased he small body on the bed, angling her to a comfortable position. He removed her shoes, and even if he didn't want her to sleep on what she was wearing, he didn't want to invade her privacy.
He respected her.
Alvaro couldn't find it in himself to force the small girl. He could easily have his way and take her, but no. He controlled himself and behaved. He didn't want Genevieve to hate him.
He wanted her to trust him. To lean on him. To be with him.
He wanted all the things that he didn't thought he wanted with her.
She was just so sweet.
So pure. And she was all his.
"When your arms around me felt like home, I knew I had found a treasure."Genevieve woke up early the next day, the sun was only rising on the horizon. Opening her eyes slowly, she yawned and stretched her body. Small mewls left her mouth, and her eyes surveying her surroundings at the same time. The room she was in was ginormous, but plain at the same time.It was her husband’s room. And now, judging by how she woke up here, her room too.'It was so black and white and so black.' she thought, the colors not appeasing her. The room was beautiful of course, but the colors were making it
"Her laugh was love at first sight to the blind man in the dark cave." Alvaro gently set his wife down on one of the chairs on the dining room, appreciating the hearty breakfast that he prepared for her. He told the cook and the maids to take the week off, wanting Genevieve for himself. The food in the table made his stomach grown with hunger. The cook he had prepares plenty for the three meals of the day. But this morning, seeing the simple yet mouthwatering creation of his wife, he had a feeling that the cook would have to find another place to work at. Nobody's eating his dishes anytime soon. Not unless his wife is not around. Genevieve observed Alvaro as he stared at the food, waiting for him to sit down at the other side of the table so they could eat. But to her surprise, he sat down beside her instead. Her head tilted to the side. Her Mama Emilia said that when dining with someone, you si
"The hunger in her eyes woke the beast inside of him. Waiting to be unleashed, waiting to be fed. By her. By all of her."The day passed by quickly. With Genevieve spending time with the dogs, and Alvaro cooped up in his office, they didn't get much time with each other.Which caused Alvaro's patience to wear thin. He was hoping that the morning phone call would be his last for the day, but alas, the business deal just couldn't fucking wait.He wanted to spend the day with his wife, it was their first day as couples after all.Genevieve had lunch with herself, with the dogs by her side. She was really enjoying the
"I want to hold you in my arms. Close enough to make you feel what you do to my heart. I want to take your hand and walk you through my dreams, just to show you how much you mean to me.""Have you thought of a name yet, amor?"[Love]Alvaro asked, his eyes watching Genevieve as she pets both the dogs by their ears. They were preparing for bed now, but somehow,Genevieve managed to convince him to let the dogs inside their room. They were trained to stay outside, by their doghouse and the garage, but his little wife wanted them to sleep with her in the room.Nice. He had competition with the two dogs now.
"She gave me the light I needed and pulled me from the dark. She gave me the love I needed and wiped off all my marks."Genevieve slowly opened her eyes, the vivid sunlight from the room's window slightly blinding her eyes. She mewled and yawned, stretching her body. That was until she felt a heavy weight resting by her waist. She slowly looked beside her, following the arm that was on her waist and to the body of the man it belonged to. There lay Mr. Alvaro.Alvaro. Her husband.A shy blush bloomed on her cheeks. It was her first time sleeping next to a man, let alone cuddling with one. She remembered how he embraced her bef
"In your arms, I am home.""Food is ready, querida."[Darling]Alvaro spoke as his Evie walked down the stairs and into the kitchen. He was the first to shower after their play time at the yard, his wife insisted that she takes care of the dogs before she takes care of herself. He didn't appreciate it one bit, but what can he do?"Wow." she spoke, amazement in her eyes as she surveyed the food in the table. It was almost lunch, so Alvaro decided to cook brunch. The satisfaction he felt when Genevieve saw the food was worth the challenge of cooking food for who knows how long. It's been a long time since he last held a knife. Her eyes were still wide with amazement when he neared her, urging her to take a seat so they could start eating. He noticed the other day that Evie's body was a bit on the petite side, and he wanted to make sure that she was healthy. He was determined to add a f
"Mornings suddenly turned for the better when I woke up next to you. Waking up to sunshine is nice but waking up to your smile is like having the sunshine in my bed."The weekend passed quickly. With only themselves and the dogs, the husband and wife spent time with each other. Alvaro rarely answered his calls in those two days, he focused only on his wife and took care of her.He made sure to feed her three times a day, four at most including the afternoon. It hasn't even been a week since they married but it felt like more.He saw how innocent and gentle Genevieve is. How kind she was, and how many questions she can generate in her head in a minute. She was a curious girl
"Close your eyes and picture the sun. That's what it felt like to love her; warmth.""Evie, meet our help around the house." Alvaro said, his hand behind his wife's lower back. The other was held out to introduce his house employees."Marina is the housekeeper. She cleans all over the place. Marina makes sure that everything is in place and everything is neat. She's been in our family since I was little. Lucy is the other help, Marina's daughter."Edward is the cook, but you can call him Ed. He's in charge of everything in the kitchen, he'll be the one handling our food. If you or I are too busy to cook, anyway.”
