Ex-boyfriends' regrets
Author: Violet

He believe she won't leave

"How can there be someone as shameless as you? Do you like Andrew Bush that much, causing my sister to commit suicide? If anything happens to my sister, I gonna kill you!"

The young man in front of her was aggressive, his good looks turning sinister and fierce due to his anger.

He pointed at her nose and cursed, raising his arm at her.

Just as his slap was about to fall, two security guards behind her quickly pulled the young man away: "Mr.Pearson, Mr. Bush has instructed us to stay by Miss Lucy's side and keep her safe, please."

The young man glared at her with disgust: "I don't know how could Andrew treat you like that!"

After saying that, as if even one more glance at her was too dirty, he left.

The surrounding flashes and camera clicks swarmed up, and only then did Lucy realize that the media were around, capturing her disheveled state.

Her mind was blank - what the hell is going on?

How did she end up here when she opened her eyes? Does she live in the other world?

The two security guards turned around and said to her, "Miss Lucy, please."

Lucy's mind was buzzing, still not recovered, and she was pushed into a black car.

As the car sped down the mountain, Lucy carefully recalled the words the young man had hurled at her.

"Andrew Bush... " "Lucy... "

Memories about this world suddenly flooded into her mind.

...

This world sounds like the world of a novel.

She has read it before. In the novel, Lucy is the key character. She has the same name, Lucy Julius.

Now, she becomes Lucy Julius in the novel!

Lucy Julius is an orphan, fell in love with Andrew at first sight three years ago, and has been devotedly following him for three years.

These years have not been easy. People around Andrew mocked her, coming from a poor family at the countryside, and not beautiful and ashamed in public. Although Andrew played with her, he didn't care much about her, just treating her like a petty.

But because of her deep love for Andrew, she silently endured all this, never complaining to him, even risking her life for him several times.

Until she later learned that the reason Andrew brought her home was just because when she played the cello, it reminded him of his first love, Celine Pearson.

There is a little iron box in Andrew's car.  The first time she touched it, Andrew turned angry, because it belonged to his first loved girl, Celine Pearson.

After Celine Pearson, the young lady of the Pearson''s family, returned to the country, the butler who followed Andrew always hesitated and sighed with regret when he saw her. It turns out that Celine Pearson was the first love Andrew couldn't mention.

Everyone knows this, and when they looked at her, Lucy felt she was a joke.

...

What just happened was a conflict that had just erupted.

Celine Pearson committed suicide, Andrew went to the hospital, and Celine Pearson's brother rushed up the mountain and shamelessly humiliated her in front of the media.

Celine had the Pearson family to protect her, but she was just an orphan, who could protect her?

...

Now recalling the plot of this novel, Lucy just remembered this plot she had already experienced was just one side.

On the other side, the story is relating to Marc Christie. It's a simple story about a female with her husband.

In the novel, Lucy has been pursuing Marc Christie for years, bringing him breakfast and many gifts, being mocked and discouraged by his friends too.

What to do now?

Although Lucy lives in this novel now, she does not know how she got in and how she could back to her real world. The only good thing is, that she knows how the story goes well and she can live as a real person, follow her own will, rather than love two other males in desperation.

There is no need to complete the story, who cares about Andrew, Marc, and their ex-girlfriend?  They could not humiliate and mock her anymore.  She just wants to go wherever she wants, and do whatever she wants!

No more following someone, flattering someone not love her, she's free to fly far away no matter who it is.

More importantly, She knows this world too well.

She has relations with the Snow family, which is one of the top wealthy families in the original novel. Because in front of the Snow family, the Pearson family, and the Andrews family, are insignificant.

Even though She forgets when the family will find her in the story, or how she could contact them, she is not in a hurry currently.

She has clear plans and starts looking forward to her new life.

Just as she clears herself's mind and comforts herself this way, the car stops outside a villa.

The security man in the front suddenly receives a call, and from his reaction, it seems to be Andrew on the other side; otherwise, the security man wouldn't have changed his expression and got out of the car so respectfully.

Andrew has had a rich life since childhood. He is arrogant and overly confident, never caring about others' feelings. Thus, for ninety percent of the original novel, Lucy suffered a lot.

Take the recent incident, for example. He received a call and was rushed to the hospital.

Such a person would, of course, not be swayed by a suicide threat. The original book does describe his thoughts; he hurried to the hospital because someone had a bit of a business hold over him, which he needed to deal with.

Later, when he learned of Celine Pearsonn's humiliation of Lucy, his expression turned terrifyingly cold. Others only thought he truly cared about Celine, and Lucy was just a tool to make Celine jealous. Lucy, the character in this novel,  also thought so.

Because of this, Andrew pushes Lucy far away.

If it weren't for the original novel insisting on a happy ending, Lucy thought such a terrible male lead couldn't possibly have a happy ending with the female role.

But who cares, she isn't the Lucy in the novel, she gonna leave anyway.

Leave both Andrew and Marc away.

Even one of them is a millionaire, one is the youngest and most handsome schoolboy in her school.  She would not experience the whole story the original key role experienced, fall in love with someone who does not like her, pursue another boy, and have a body with him...

Lucy imagine what a confusing and Tangled story.

She plans to live her own life without those guys.

.....

On the other side, the assistant hurriedly caught up with Andrew: "Mr.Bush, the hospital said  Miss Pearson's condition is fine'."

Andrew, with his hands in his pockets, nodded.

The assistant cautiously asked, "How about Miss Lucy... You left the ski resort without a word and came to the hospital. She must be somewhat heartbroken. Should we send her a gift?"

Andrew replied nonchalantly, "I've already made a call."

The assistant glanced at him, not sure what to say, and after a moment, tentatively added, "Is just a comforting call enough?"

"Why wouldn't it be?" Andrew glared at him. "That was a call I made, lasting three minutes."

The assistant quickly smiled and apologized, "Then that's good, there should be no problem."

After all, everyone knows that Miss Lucy is deeply in love with Mr. Bush.

Initially, the assistant thought Lucy was playing with Andrew for his money, but after last year's car accident, where she took great risks to protect him, she believed that Lucy truly cared for Andrew Bush.

So, the assistant believes,  Miss Lucy would never leave Andrew.

Andrew, of course, never doubts this.
