She decide left

Nurses in the hospital discuss this topic discreetly.

"Andrew Bush just left, right? I heard that when he was young, he fought with his elder brother for the patient. The patient, Miss Celine Pearson, even abroad for eight years, turns out to stay in his heart. When Miss Celine Pearson, had an incident, he was the first to rush to the hospital!"

"Are you talking about the pale-faced patient, is she Miss Pearson? I took a glance when they were changing her medicine, and she doesn't look much like the Pearsons' family members in the media..."

"What nonsense are you talking about?"

"Let's talk about Mr.Bush. I heard that when Miss Pearson returned to our country, Mr.Bush was accompanied by Miss Lucy,  to make Miss Pearson jealous. Miss Lucy wants his money and refuses to leave!"

"Is Miss Lucy that desperate for money?"

Lucy went up to the second floor, entered her room, charged her phone, turned it on, and was immediately greeted by a call.

She knew she had to change her phone number, but when she saw the name "Vivien Dolly " light up on the screen, she answered it.

Lucy remembered that "Vivien" was her best friend and schoolmate in the novel. A year ago, Lucy injured her right wrist by protecting Andrew in a car accident. It hadn't fully healed yet. That's why Andrew Bush didn't allow her to return to the school.

Lucy took this phone call and heard the nurses gossip in the hospital.

On the other end of the phone, Vivien also heard those gossiping and turned angry: "Listen to this! Everyone is talking about you. Today, Celine just arrived at the hospital, and Bush rushed to the hospital to visit her. He stayed with her for more than three hours......"

She suddenly stopped talking, just realizing that this might hurt Lucy.

But Lucy smiled and said, "I already know that, thank you."

"Thank me for what?" Vivien couldn't help but feel that Lucy was being treated unfairly. "Why do they say you're not good enough for him? Besides being rich and having a family, what else does Andrew Bush have? If it weren't for him last year, you would have had a bright future now."

"For him, You gave up my job and endured so much humiliation. It's frustrating. Please, just forget about that bastard and leave him!"

Vivien was indignant, she knew that she had advised Lucy before, but Lucy would never listen to suggestions. She couldn't leave Andrew.

However, Vivien hears Lucy's voice on the phone call.

Lucy said:  "Well, I think the same thing. I'm packing my bags right now."

Vivien:...

???

Vivien cannot believe it. "Are you serious?"

Lucy picked a couple of clothes and placed them in her suitcase. "Yes, I am. I don't want to engage with him anymore."

Vivien cannot believe it, "Really?"

Vivien knows that even if Lucy left now, she might regret it soon and come back to Andrew a couple of hours later. Like what Lucy has done several times before.

However, Lucy knows, it won't happen anymore. Andrew Bush, in Lucy's eyes, never really cared about her.

Actually, in these three years, she had suffered greatly.

She had a pollen allergy, but on her first day in the villa, she discovered that the yard was filled with tulips.

As described in the original novel, Andrew's beloved flowers had been tulips during the time he still held the image of the moonlight in his heart. Some of Andrew's high-society friends occasionally made fun of her with the term "wildflower," which couldn't compare to "tulip," even though they knew she understood.

They had mocked her more than once.

Celine Pearson came from a prestigious family and had been pampered since childhood. She looked at people with a condescending attitude.

In their words, Lucy had never seen the world. She didn't even have a passport. The first time she accompanied Andrew abroad, it was the Assistant who arranged her passport and visa.

She used to smile a lot, and her smile revealed dimples. But after meeting Andrew, who didn't like her smiling, she smiled less and less.

Andrew was arrogant, self-absorbed, and rarely showed any affection to anyone. In three years, he had initiated contact with her only a handful of times. If it weren't for the moments described in the original story that showed him changing feelings, from Lucy's perspective, it was hard to tell that he liked her.

So Lucy guessed that Andrew wouldn't call her again before tomorrow night when he returned. She took her phone card, removed it, and threw it into the trash can.
