Chapter Eighty-Three

Raj's POV

The doctor came in and injected a sleeping drug into her system to calm her and allow her get some rest.

"Why is she still like this doc?" Raj inquired, his voice dripping with concern.

"Come to my office and I will explain everything to you briefly," he replied and left the room. I followed behind.

He opened the door to his office and for in. I got in as well and took a sit opposite him.

"Your wife suffered a miscarriage as you already know and was in denial of what happened unfortunately. Deep down, she knows the truth about the loss of her baby, but she's finding it hard to believe it actually happened. She doesn't want to accept the fact in spite of knowing and that was why she went into denial. It commonly happens after a woman miscarried her baby, then anger. She has somewhat accepted the fact the baby is gone and is looking for someone, anyone to blame for the loss, so she's putting the blame on herself. She's going through anger right now," the doctor explained.
