Chapter Eighty

Raj's POV

My gaze travelled down to Roshni's legs and I could swear my heart stopped beating for a second. Roshni was bleeding, our baby was in danger. Without thinking of what the consequence of my action would be, I took Manish's gun and acted on reflex. I lunged towards Nick furiously and started punching him hard. His head moved to the side and his grip around Roshni loosened. She looked so much in pain, but she wasn't screaming, crying... That bothered me a lot and I continued throwing punches against his face, head, anywhere I could get my hand on and he began to retaliate. In the process of struggling with him, I pulled the trigger and shot him in the foot. He fell down groaning and screaming in pain. I aimed the gun at his head. This time, I wanted to finish him off completely. I didn't care what the consequences might be anymore. I was more than ready to go to jail for murder if it meant I could avenge all the terrible things he did and was still doing to my family.
