"Where were you?" Raj asked, calmly.

"I met up with Vid and-" I didn't get to finish what I was saying as I was cut off by Raj.

"The last time I checked, she was out of the country." he reminded.

'Great! Now he thinks I'm lying.' "She's back," I replied.

"You were with her the whole day?" He questioned. Was that wrong? - I wondered.

"Yeah. We were at a restaurant, then a clinic." I blurted out mistakenly. I never wanted him to know about our visit to the clinic.

He moved closer to me and asked; "Why? Who was sick?" He questioned.

There was no point in lying anymore. He already knew we were at the hospital, so I might as well just spill everything.

"I was," I answered and his face scrunched up in confusion.

"You? What happened to you? Was it because of the headache or perhaps because of the-"

"I passed out." I confessed, cutting him off from rambling.
