IT’S TIME TO ELIMINATE

“Fuck!” June muttered under her breath and continued sprinting toward the tarred road.

When she got away from the house, she squatted and continued panting heavily, trying to keep her breathing in check.

A few moments later, a cab pulled up right in front of her.

June jumped into the back seat of the car after giving the driver her address. She had given him the address of the junction the cabin was located at.

An hour ago, June had grown bored of her hideout. She had missed David so much that she couldn't resist the thought to catch a glimpse at his face so she jumped into an oversize hoodie and headed to his grandmother’s house. She went into the woods surrounding the tree house, hoping to catch a glimpse of David.

Such a perfect coincidence! She had thought. From her hidden point, she had seen David go up to the tree house until he caught a glimpse of her shadow and made her engage in a marathon. She felt glad he didn’t see her.

“We are here!” the driver announced.
