At that point, Sylvia couldn't control the rate at which her entire body was quivering.

It turns out that Leonard and David weren't the culprits. It was Cathrina’s lover, the one she had never gotten a glimpse at.

“You know what? I'm feeling dizzy from standing here to talk to you. I need to go before someone finds out that I'm not in my room.” Cathrina said.

“Fine but think about your choices Cathrina. You come home with my son or I show up in that houseand wreak havoc,” he warned.

Cathrina curled her lips in irritation and pushed the car door open.

Sylvia was lost until she heard the car door getting slammed. Denim started the car. She quickly went back to the trunk and buried her face in her hands.

Sylvia wanted to scream. She wanted to yell out all her pain and frustration but she had to keep her voice down, to keep her cover. She felt the car wheeling away and she knew they were headed towards the mansion. With trembling lips, Sylvia kept fighting to hold her tears.
