THE WELLS DON’T BREAK

“You said we were only visiting June. You didn't tell me we were also going to see Cathrina.” Sylvia lamented as they traced their way towards David’s car.

“If we are bent on making things right then we have to leave no stone unturned,” David replied.

When they got to the car, Sylvia threw her back against the vehicle and heaved a deep sigh.

David moved closer to her. He tilted her jaw with two fingers. “As long as you're with me, you don't have to worry about anything.”

She threw her arms around him. “I love you, David.”

“I love you most.”

They got into the car and drove away.

After driving for about twenty minutes, they made it to the detention center.

As usual, Cathrina was informed of her visitors and she granted them an audience.

The moment Sylvia and David walked hand in hand, Cathrina became emotional. She sniffled as tears began to well up in her eyes.
