Wahika's POV

I was preparing to go to the palace because I had received a signal that Alpha Devon was back. It is my duty to go greet him in the palace whenever he comes home.

However, after communing with the gods, i was alerted in my spirit that someone needed my help. I initially wanted to lure the persom back to wherever the person got lost.

The gods ordered me to go check on the person myself and they also gave me an instruction. I never knew that Nicholas had captured a prisoner. It was all over the village but i didn't really rake cognizance of it.

I also didn't know that it was a woman. I had thought that the betrayer was a man. I had also even expected us to burn the person a stake after two days because that was the rule.

Since I didn't live in the village, i couldn't know that she wss a woman. If i lived there I would have known immediately, since the villagers always have one gossip or the order to trade with their mouths.
