The Rescue

The celebration for Aiden's arrival last night had turned into a nightmare.

Nathan paced the floor of the meeting room with his mind racing. His usual calm demeanor had been replaced by anger and fierce determination. "We need to move quickly," he said. "Every moment we waste is a moment Jessica gets further away with Aiden."

Charlotte stood beside Derek, her eyes red from crying. "We can't let her get away with this," she said, "Aiden needs us."

Derek nodded. "We'll find him, Charlotte. We will!"

Nathan turned to his beta, Austin, who had just entered the room. "Austin, have you assembled the team?"

Austin nodded. "Yes, King Nathan. They're ready and waiting for your command."

"Good," Nathan replied. "We leave immediately."

Nathan, Austin, Derek, and Charlotte moved along with a few guards. Charlotte had insisted on going, even though they had advised her to stay put.

Nathan led the way with keen intensity, Derek and Charlotte following closely, filled with fear and hope.

As they
