Maximus' pov:I arrived at the northern border in a few minutes. The border guards kept a strong defense and I immediately joined them. After several minutes of fighting with rogues we managed to repel most of them. Once again the border guards did an amazing job. I'm really proud of my warriors. Adelina's pov:It has already been a week since Maximus' accident and yet he hasn't woken up with the last two days falling into a coma. The doctors had run many tests, but did not find anything to cause his current condition. He wasn't poisoned and had no underlying disease. He had only one serious wound that did not heal. Adelina's pov:When our conversation with Chris ended, I went straight to my office as I had a lot of work to do. When I got in I was surprised. Marios was waiting for me there. He told me that he had been informed about my overnight stay in Maximus' room. Apparently my stay in Maximus' room was spread all over the hospital. It was the news of the day! He suggested that I go to rest. This is definitely Chris' doing and I'm grateful to him because, although I felt very energetic when I woke up, as the hours passed fatigue overwhelmed me. Adelina's pov:I woke up to a loud noise at my door. Someone was constantly knocking on the door and shouting my name from outside. I told him out loud to wait for me for a few seconds. I quickly got out of bed and got dressed. When I opened the door, a tall and masculine warrior was waiting for me. He told me to follow him, according to Chris' orders. Adelina's pov:I woke up feeling extremely weak and tired. My mind was a mess. Maximus' term worried me. I didn't anticipate that. I never believed that he would set such term. Ι can understand that he wants me close to him in order to gain the throne, but I cannot figure out the reason he wants a relationship with me. What does he want to achieve? Why is he doing that?
