Chapter 47 - Upside down

Maximus' pov:

I woke up and found myself lying on a bed in a hospital room. As one of the nurses told me I was out for three days. I had already collapsed when Chris found me later that day in the forest and brought me here. It is the first time I am glad he did not obey my orders and did what his heart told him.

During all those days I fell into a deep sleep. It was one of the side effects of the poison that Mario gave me. I would have more side effects if the doctors here did not give me the antidote. Nevertheless I needed this sleep as my body was exhausted from everything that took place the previous days.

Chris informed me that eventually Adelina was found safe and sound and that she would return tomorrow. Although he skipped all the details about her finding which caused many doubts to me, Drako and I were excited that we would see her again.
