Chapter 44 - The list

Μaximus' pov:

In the cabin there was an old table and some old chairs and half a damaged fireplace in the east corner. It was obviously deserted for years but we found evidence that someone was there a few days ago. We could not be sure if the person who stayed there was Adelina or someone else as the sense had already evaporated. We found some food waste, two torn black T-shirts and a half-broken bed. The cabin was in chaos. Certainly the man who was here was not human. How could a human survive in such a deserted and dangerous place?

My men and I, scanned the entire area around the cabin to no avail. Unfortunately, we did not find anything else. There were no traces as the rain the day before has vanished them.

-"Nothing, nothing, nothing at all. Where did she go? She could not have disappeared like that. I am sure I got her sense" Drako said frustrated in my mind.
