Chapter Eighty-Seven

Murray's POV

As we got to the borders of the Rogue Pack, I alighted from the carriage and yawned as I stretched after such a long journey.

Mandy and Stam got down too and we sat on the floor just to rest a bit. "It's funny, right? How we could rest inside this carriage and yet feel as tired as someone who just got done with hard labour," I laughed.

The driver, the maids and the guards remained in the carriage as the plan was to get back in there and make our way into the Pack once we found a way to do that.

"What's the next line of action?" Mandy asked, scratching her ears with her fingers.

I hated it when she did that. Especially because she rarely washed her hands afterwards. It was simply gross to me and I didn't know how best to say it to her.

"I believe Stam should have the answer to that," I replied, turning to him. "What are we to do? Have you spoken to the Rogues at the outskirts?"
