Chapter Sixty

Elsa's POV

"Why's Murray not here?" I asked as I sat in the carriage awaiting his arrival.

It had been almost an hour or even more than that, but he was nowhere to be found and I began to get a bit worried.

He said he wasn't going to be long but it had already taken so much time. I thought about leaving the chariot to look for him but on the contrary, I didn't know if he'd like that, especially if he was having a very confidential meeting. Even if he did, the other party would definitely not appreciate that.

So I stayed put and just spent some time thinking of the things I'd eventually say to him when he gets back. "He'd better have a good excuse for this," I said to myself. "Else I'd kill him for letting me stay out here this long."
