Chapter Thirty

Alpha Davon's POV

"Welcome, brother."

My brother greeted me as soon as I got into the throne room with a huge grin on his face and I just ignored him and walked to my chair.

I was mad at him for not showing up. I didn't even know why he didn't. I got news from Raymond that he was just as informed as I was so I expected to see him there, fighting alongside everyone else but he didn't.

"Where were you?" I asked him, unable to hold back anymore. I had thought I could just ignore him and move on but I couldn't do that anymore.

"I was in the kitchen, brother, making sure that things were going just fine." He kept a straight face as he spoke, pretending he didn't know why I asked the question but I knew he did. There was no way he couldn't have known what he was supposed to do.

"Yet, you knew that your people were being attacked. You were aware that I and Raymond were fighting off the rival Packs and you didn't care that we were in danger?"
