Alpha Davon's POV

With all that the Eagle had said, I could hardly not believe that he was right. Even from the look in his eyes, I saw nothing else but sincerity.

But how then could I explain the way that I felt? There was no denying that I felt something strong. I couldn't also deny that Elsa also did. She said so herself and I had also seen it in her eyes.

If it wasn't the mate bond that we shared, I didn't know what else to call it. I might have truly been cursed, just like I had always thought, yet I would have been stupid to deny myself or what I felt. I had a strong feeling that Elsa was a part of me that I couldn't do without.

"Alpha Davon? Are you still with us?"

I jolted back to reality, having been snapped out of my thoughts by Raymond who didn't just call me but also tapped me on the wrist.

"Yeah. Sure. I've heard all that you've said to me, but I still have my reservations even if I know you're telling the truth. I mean, I still feel the same way
