“The idea of having a step-brother irks me out. I swear, I'll hate Mum after this!”
The rust eaten car door groaned as I slammed it shut. It made such a stupid jarring sound that only reminded me of the agitation boiling up to a point inside of me. The Alpha’s mansion stood before me with its dark stones shading the weak afternoon sun. It wasn't welcoming. It was more like a fortress guarding some unknown treasure. And like hell, I hated it! I could not wait to rat both of my wolf’s ears out once we were alone. This wasn't Ravenwood Pack– my home. Nah, this was a place that reeked of cold power and city nonsense. "This is insane, Mom," I grumbled, throwing my hands in the air. "Why do you have to take this Luna position? We were perfectly happy back in Ravenwood." My mom turned to me with pleading eyes. "Honey, this isn't just a position. It's an honor being chosen as Luna by the Alpha Council." "Honor?" I scoffed. "More like a cage I am being forced into. Ravenwood is good. It's small. We only have werewolves living within a radius but this is a city full of humans and probably vampires, Mum!” My gaze swept over the mansion again. "And what about me? I have friends in Ravenwood, a life there. Here, I'll be just another outsider, a social pariah with a lame name like Nimue." Mom chuckled but only succeeded in worsening the irritation on my skin. "Nimue is a beautiful name, honey. It means 'great wave,' strong and powerful. Besides, you'll make new friends. This could be a good thing, a fresh start." “A fresh start? You mean a forced restart switch on my life. Everything I know, everyone I love is left behind because of a one-way ticket to who-knows-where, Mum?” With a sigh, I shouldered my backpack and followed her towards the mansion. She squeezed my shoulder. "You'll make new friends, Nimue. Besides, you're turning eighteen soon. A fresh start might be just what you need." A fresh start, my foot. Just as my internal rant was about to reach a pitch, the huge doors of the mansion creaked open. And holy sweetness, it spewed forth a figure scoured in the rays of the noon sun. My breath almost became ragged at the sight of him. Mum didn't tell me there were beautiful men in this pack. She always put the first things last! He was tall, with dark hair that fell across his forehead in a chic bang, hiding away a pair of eyes that I could only describe as ‘deadly serious’. Every muscle in my body tensed as an awareness I didn't understand slammed into me. This guy— he would certainly be an interesting personality, no cap. Something in me stirred. My Luna wolf stirred. She purred. “I like him, Nimue.” She gasped. However, my Umbra wolf said he was trouble. If he was trouble, I couldn't deny that he was the most captivating kind at that. Oh. Do not be surprised. I am a unique she-wolf with two different kinds of wolves. Apparently, one of my wolves seemed to like this sinfully good-looking guy, and the other was— erh, not a fan. He stopped dead in his tracks when he saw us and his gaze did a quick scan of Mom's face, sussing out her vibe before landing on mine. And then, recognition struck his face, followed by a look that practically shouted ‘disgust’. “They smell filthy… as supposed," he spat with disdain. Then, without another glance, he turned to leave. Oh. My. Good. Godly. God. What the hell just happened? Did Mr. Handsome face just turn into a body of spite?! Like hell, I wouldn't tolerate disrespect from anyone. Be it a good-looking guy or a jerk. “Excuse you, Mr. High-and-Mighty!” I hissed. Before Mom could grab my arm, I was striding towards him with an icy glare. "Did you just call us— filthy?" I demanded, hands on my hips. He paused, his back stiffened, and slowly turned his head. Geez, I swallowed a lump down my throat. Up close, his features were even more striking – a strong jawline, a perfectly sculpted nose, and those eyes… …they were seafoam green. They seemed to nibble at something inside of me. What was this feeling? A sluggish smirk curled a corner of his lips. "Isn't that obvious?" he growled in a way that sent shivers down my spine. "You waltz in here, uninvited, and expect some grand welcome? From me?” "Uninvited?" My voice rose high. "We're here because my mother is the new Luna!" I gestured towards Mom, who looked like a deer caught in headlights. He finally deemed it fit to look at her with an empty expression. "Figures," he muttered, contempt evident in his tone. My momma deserved so much better than this arrogant A-hole! “Take that back!" I yelled, steepling my fingers dangerously. "My mother is the most kind, most honorable woman I know, and soon to be your Luna, you basic rascal!” He chuckled. "Spare me the dramatics," he said, his eyes raking over me with a coldness that made me feel exposed. "Maybe back in your… whatever it is you came from, manners aren't a thing. Here, you learn to respect your superiors." S—superiors?! Who?! Before I could retort, he turned on his heel and disappeared into the mansion, leaving me fuming. Superior? Bruh, this man's respect level is on negative infinity and he's here talking to me about one? Pfft! Mom placed a shaky hand on my arm. "Don't mind him, Nimue. He's just… Kieran. He'll come around eventually." "Eventually?" I scoffed. "Well, if ‘eventually’ means never, then I can live with that just fine." “Let's just go in.” “Not until you tell me who that arrogant jerk is!” Mom sighed, shaking her head. “Well, t-that’s your new brother.” She said. New… what?! New brother? Mine? My new brother? That douchebag? Argh. I knew I didn't like this place for a reason. I knew I wouldn't like it. We were barely thirty minutes here and were already in this bloody mess? Pipe me! “Look, Mom.” I turned to meet her gaze. “I know it's an honor and blah blah blah. You've fallen for the Alpha here and you have envisioned a new life with him, but I don't think this would end well. I can practically feel it. Too much bad energy around.” My mum only rolled her eyes and turned to proceed with opening the door. By now, the guards within the mansion were already shooting us curious glances. “I never knew you were now a prophesier, Nimue.” She joked. I got frustrated. Like hell, I couldn't imagine living with that clown who had just left. Thus, I grabbed her hands. “Let's just go back, Mum. Please.” “Let go of me, Nimue!” She yanked her hands off mine. “Quit being a child and grow up for once! This is your new home and your new reality. The sooner you understand that, the better! Sooner or later, you will come to understand why this is important and has to be done.” With that, she opened the door and strode in, leaving me standing in the entryway with my jaw and fists clenched. Why this was important you say, mum? What other importance was there except that you're so eager to meet the love of your life?! Argh. It was as if there was an unseen force, pulling at me and giving me the creeps about this place. I couldn't explain it but it seemed as if I was standing by the doorstep of a new becoming. If that made any sense at all. You know what? Fuck it. I walked inside and shut the door. As if to complement the shutting of the door, my mouth fell open at what was before me.I walked through that epic door and my jaw literally hit the floor. This mansion wasn't just big, it was on another level. Everything was straight-up fire. The foyer was like, SO extra. Polished marble floors reflecting light from this epic chandelier that looked like it belonged in a museum. And then there's this staircase curving upwards. The hallway at the top just vanished into the distance. This wasn't just a house, this was a whole freaking palace! My gaze darted around, searching for my obnoxious ‘brother’ from earlier, but instead landed on a group of men standing amidst the grandeur. One was a tall and imposing figure with a mutton chops beard. He radiated an aura of power that instantly screamed ‘Alpha’. This had to be him, the one my mother had shown me countless pictures of – Alpha Viktor. Behind him stood what appeared to be a guard detail – men clad in black with forbearing expressions. And then, there was him… … standing closest to the Alpha was a man who tru
A month and a half later, Jin stood in front of me, his hands, clothes, and face dripping with fresh blood while the human boy from lay lifeless behind him. “Done, Nimue. I told you there's nothing I can not do for you. All you have to do is ask.” A maleficent grin broke across his face. No, I did not ask for this. I never wanted for him to kill him. I just said I needed his help, not this. I gulped, shuddering with fear that went down to my bones, wondering what the Alpha council would make do with this if they found out. I was sent to this hellish school because of a trivial scandal. Now that I – we had blood on our hands, what would become of our fate when they found out? I was not allowed to brood further when Jin sped toward me. His blood-stained hands pulled down my sleeve over as he lowered his neck to face me. “It's almost time for your transformation. I can not wait for it and fuck you in your asshole while you scream my name into the night.” He whispered, his bre
Kieran stood behind me, Alpha Viktor in front of me, and Mum beside me. My head was hung low in shame. Within the course of five days in this mansion, I had managed to cause a scandal. How? I had no freaking idea. But I bet you, I had a very very good guess about the source. Apparently, falling and being caught by the Beta was a crime in this place.Well, I could not blame them much. Whoever took the pictures of Mr. Kisaragi catching me back on the balcony that night sure made it seem like we were engrossed in some romantic shit. Two days after the incident on the balcony, pictures of me and the Beta were swirling across the internet in waves.“Throw them out, Dad. I told you they are opportunists. They arrived here just a few days ago and the daughter is already doing dirty things with a man. Jin of all people.” Kieran scoffed. “What is the assurance that the mother will not sleep with the Gamma next? They are just looking for opportunities to exploit us!”His words were all shades o
Kieran ~~ One thing I hated more than Jin Kisaragi was girls who didn't know their places. Girls with uncouth mouths, rascals, and opportunists like Nimue. I loathed her down to my bones. I couldn't decide who I despised the most between her and her stupid mother. Returning to my room in anger after my father had insisted that she was to resume the same college as me, I began to doubt if my plan had not backfired on me. Yes, it was I who took those pictures of Jin and her. The online postings were also my deed. I knew it wasn't the most conventional way of doing things, but man, she just had to go. Not just her… her mother as well. I liked my family as it already was. I loved being an only child to my mother and father, but since Mum was indisposed, Dad had no business remarrying. This new Luna, I wondered if she knew that my mother was still alive, kept away somewhere by my father because of his greed. I just didn't want anyone hurt. So, it was better I got rid of th
When I was done with her lips, I moved to Lucille’s full breast. The girl might think she was beautiful, but her beauty had nothing on me. Meanwhile, her breasts were the only things I could actually tolerate about her. They were so full and so… juicy. I inclined my head, taking her left breast in my mouth while my hands puffed the right one like it was a balloon I was trying to deflate.Lucille responded by grabbing my head with both of her hands for support. I could feel her muscles relaxing, and her leaning back for me to take full control.Sucking off sweat and the steamy shower water off her nipples, I released the left breast and allowed my hands to trail around her body. I followed a path from her chest down to her stomach and then, a little lower.A long melancholic groan emanated from her when two of my fingers found her opening and dipped themselves into it. “Oh, Kieran…” Her grip on my head firmed.I thrust in and out of her, fingering arousal into her while, simultaneousl
NIMUE ~~ "Argh! I hate him!" I groaned, clutching the soft lavender pillow to my chest. It wasn't working. No matter how much I smothered my face in its floral scent, the image of Kieran's smug face, his stupid perfect abs, and that infuriating smirk… it all remained burned into my retinas. "Ugh, why Luna?" My voice came out muffled. "How can you possibly find anything remotely attractive about that lying, arrogant… Adonis?" Luna, who was just a closet Kieran fangirl chirped in my mind, "He has a certain… alpha quality, I swear! And those eyes… they are like molten chocolate…" "Molten chocolate that wants to melt my insides and then spit out the bones," I grumbled. Umbra growled in agreement. She hated Kieran and I did too. "Exactly! He's trouble with a capital T. Remember the whole 'scandal' fiasco? That was all him, Nimue. I could smell the lie all over him.” She pointed out. "Ugh, don't remind me! The entire pack thinks I'm some gold-digging drama queen now, all th
Pure-Blood College wasn't your typical high school. Sure, it had lockers lining the hallways and classrooms buzzing with pre-pubescent energy, but the occasional scent of a wolf or vampire hinted at a deeper secret hidden beneath the exterior of the normalcy of the school. Gosh, I shuddered. I had such a phobia for humans and vampires. Back in Ravenwood, we were quite separated from them. But here, it was a whole hell of a mixed species.Humans, as usual, were oblivious to the supernatural world co-existing with them. They mingled with werewolves, vampires, and the like, creating a unique social ambiance unbeknownst to them that some of us tore our own flesh and shifted into beasts while the other drank blood… their blood. But for me, Nimue, a soon-to-be-eighteen werewolf with a pack full of bad PR, it felt like walking into a lion's den in a lamb costume.Taking a deep breath, I entered the school, overwhelmed by the clamor of voices and the sheer scale of the place. Sunlight strea
“Don't mind them," the girl said softly, not in the least bit noticing the chill coursing through me. "Those girls are notorious bullies. Always picking on someone." A vampire was talking to me! A vam-fucking-pire was talking to ME! I began to tremble, my brain not doing its job efficiently. I was fumbling with the corner of the towel so clumsily, I could hear Luna laughing at me. The vampire girl's face morphed into surprise as she noticed my struggle with the towel. "Here, let me help you with that." Before I could protest, she gently took the towel from me and began dabbing at the orange stain. Her touch was surprisingly light, despite the unnatural chill that emanated from her. Oh, help me, Moon Goddess! HELP ME! "So," she continued, her voice still soft, "is it true what they're saying about you and Mr. Kisaragi?" I stared at her, blinking and thrown off guard. Jin Kisaragi? The rumors had reached even the school weirdos? Sensing my surprise, the girl added quickly,
