Chapter 55: Reveal yourself

Diana stirred in her sleep as she came awake.

Her eyelids fluttered open and the first thing she saw was a shield of blurriness.

Blinking repeatedly, her eyes gradually cleared and she frowned. Where was she?

She could see the sky clearly. The clouds were thick and fluffy, moving lazily across the sky.

A blue colored bird flew past, chirping loudly as it nestled on a tree branch.

Why was she outside? Wasn't she in her room?

She slowly got up and her eyes widened. She was no where near the mansion. The scene before her eyes was beautiful, and strange as well.

All around her were tall mountains, the peaks disappearing into the clouds. Lush green trees waved gently in the afternoon breeze, bringing the scent of citrus and pine.

She was seated inside a cave, but it was unlike any cave she had ever seen. It was homey.
