Chapter 57: Transformation

"Look who's awake." He smiled and pulled her against him.

"You're back." Diana's face lit up and without warning, Asher leaned down and kissed her full on the lips, letting his hands tangle in her hair.

"Hey, my turn." Axel protested and pulled her out of his arms.

Diana giggled as Axel lifted her and twirled her around. She hadn't been this happy in a long while, and she relished the feeling.

"Settle down lovebirds." Freya muttered, rolling her eyes. "You shifters are so possessive of your mate, even as you're all mated to the same girl."

"Oh Freya, are we making you feel uncomfortable?" Asher asked playfully, going over to seat beside the sorceress.

"Not a chance." Freya playfully smacked his head. "You're all babies compared to me. I've had my share of love and affection."

"Really?" Diana asked eagerly. "Tell us about it."

"In your dreams." Freya remarked, shooting out tiny flames from her fingertips. The flames curled in the air before they went out with a poof.

"Come on Freya."
