ZANE’S POV

I was scared and at the same time angry when we got to the woods and found Maeve in that condition.

How was it that she could lose her memory in such a short time?

I nearly got a heart attack when she passed out right after I scolded her and I began to regret why I scolded her in the first place.

What I found strange was that my uncle died the same way Anna died. Could they have been working with the same person?

How was it that they were always fine but whenever we were trying to or close to getting information from them, they would begin coughing out blood and choking till they died?

All these questions were running wild in my head even when we got back to the pack house and Maeve woke up.

I felt guilty when Maeve asked about Maggie, but she didn't get mad at me like I expected her to.

We all hoped and prayed that Maggie would wake up soon.

As for Anna’s body, we cleared it and Khal took it to the morgue before he came back here to join us some minutes back.
