“I need to inform Alpha Zane about this recent development. For all we know they may be planning something that isn't good,” Damien said and the others agreed with him.

I didn’t want them bothering Alpha Zane about this because I knew that his declining health condition we had been trying to hide would be exposed if Damien told him about it.

I knew that Alpha Zane would be angry and end up showing up in front of the Alphas in his current state.

“No. Don’t tell him about this. I’ll handle this,” I stopped Damien just when he was about to turn around and head to Alpha Zane’s room.

They all looked at me with creased brows and Khal was the one who ended up speaking.

“How do you mean we should leave it to you? A Luna has never entered into a meeting of the Alpha before,” Khal tried to make me see reasons but I refused to accept.
