Chapter 74

MAEVE’S POV

“We need to do something. Anything!! Please. We shouldn’t just stay and watch Alpha Zane walking to his death,” I panicked and Charlotte held my hands.

“I'm afraid that at this point there is nothing else we can do. Well, except the moon goddess performs a miracle,” Alpha Kelvin shrugged with a sad look on his face.

But I wasn’t gonna allow it to happen. I wasn’t going to sit back and not do anything.

I wanted to go stand a safe distance away from Alpha Zane before I said what I was about today but Charlotte and Maggie held me back.

And it wasn’t helping that the Arena had stadium seating. If not, I would have yanked their hands away from me and run straight to where the Alpha sat.

But that would have met me jumping seats which eventually would have led to breaking a bone or two.

“Let me fight in place of my mate,” I yelled loud enough for everyone to hear and watched Damien let outburst of wicked laughter.

While the rest looked at me as though I was slowly going insane.
